Yes I've seen it there
It passed already it was free. There were so many people I had to leave. Walked around with my plate of food for 30 minutes trying to find a seat, ended up having to return the food and left because I had no where to sit and you couldnt walk around no space.
It is scheduled on November 14th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
My visit here is one ill never forget. I would say its a great place to visit if passing through.
Food was delicious! Portions large enough to share!
This is a fun place. Not your ordinary restaurant. We had chicken crepes with almond sauce that came with a nice size bowl of fruit and a glass of spiced oranged mint tea. Then shopped in their clothing/jewelry shop. Of course we couldn't leave empty handed. They have cute, quality items.
Had a bit of wait due to our large group, not too bad. Ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. Sides a bit underseasoned and tea too sweet. Overall not too bad, would try again.
Had my daughters birthday party here. She loved it and it was a night to remember. Happy birthday Selena Carter. Best daughter in the world.
Absolutely the best salad bar around. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Great service.
Last night, I attended my first and last Ladies Night at this place. I paid $25 for reserved seating, arrived early and was seated in one of the private rooms even though there were seats open in the main dining room. I could not see the entertainment and could barely hear it. There were drawings for door prizes and I and the others in the room could barely hear. Not being in the main dining made me feel as I though I was not even a part of this event and others at my table felt the same way. My other complaint is the main dish looked like someone just threw it together and if you're going to have buffet style with a large group, there should have been a line on each side. This whole event did not meet my expectations. Definitely a one hit wonder! Jean McGee Mott
Very good service and food. Love their chicken salad!
The catering pricing was affordable and the service was excellent. The tasting went extremely well and made Potpourri House an easy choice. Unfortunately, the food that arrived to the wedding reception was not quite what we expected. We asked for loaded mashed potatoes as one of the sides and received plain mashed potatoes. We asked for meatballs as a second entree and received spaghetti. The food tasted vastly different from what we had at the tasting. However, all of the guests thought it was delicious and I appreciate their great service.
Great food and catering staff. Professional, clean, great tasting food!
Great tasty fresh salad bar, soup and baked potatoes. Service was wonderful and attentive. Thank you!
All you can eat is home made extremely good!!! Atmosphere & service 10+ . Shopping experience is equal!!! Wonderful place
Went to a wedding reception that they hosted. Good food and great service. The power went out, but they made it one of the best wedding receptions I have ever been to. Food was sti good, danced, and had really good service from the staff. I am glad they let us stay and that they were so helpful.
Food was delicious. Fish was good. The hushpuppies were spicy.
One of my top spots for delicious Quality Meals. Arrived at six, it was not packed. Quick, helpful, and friendly service. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.
Ate lunch. The tortilla soup was good, then I had nausea with a couple of hours. Cute place. All the salads were good too.
We recently used The Potpourri House to cater our granddaughter’s wedding and I must say that all the food was outstanding! I can’t say enough good things about Les that served our food. He was so very pleasant and helpful. It was a very hot day outside before the wedding started and our guests were really needing water. Even though this was not part of the catering requirements, he loaded up trays of water and ice and brought it outside and served all of our guests. We were so appreciative of this. I would use this facility again in a second and require that Les be present! He was awesome, as well as the food. You must try the strawberry salad if you have not already! The Potpourri House has always been our favorite restaurant in Tyler!
This has been a special place to go with my daughter's. Good food. A little shopping and time to visit in a relaxed atmosphere.
This place is wonderful. Half gift shop. Half restaurant. Really love the whole set up inside. I've been in Tyler bout 10 years and this was my first time here. The gift shop has many different things to choose from. From clothes, jewelry, hand bags - to - Christmas decor, candles, dishes etc. they have just about everything you can gift. Lol. After we walked around the gift shop. We stayed and ate in the little cafe area.
Our church has an annual event here, the food has always been top notch and the service even better. Wonderful private atmosphere and live entertainment.
The staff is very attentive, personable & gracious. The shopping is divine!
Went for an event. Really nice ambience. Lovely items for sale in the front half, friendly staff.
Great place to get your fried food fix. We actually preferred them over several of the popular fried seafood joints in the area. We popped in at about 2:30 on a Tuesday for a late lunch. Seating was relaxed and we were asked to sit any available table.
I took my great friend/country musician Brantley Gilbert there in 2009 and we had a blast they have Colby beef and a harp player that was tailgating request so we requested the Benny Hill theme song and on a dare. .if played our singer would run around the building slapping Brantley Gilberts Brother on the back of the head like the Benny Hill show.. Yes that totally happened that was the night I became close friends with the Brantley Gilbert Band ever since
Delish food, great waiter and wonderful sale on Christmas items! Great atmosphere, too!
We had a very good lunch at reasonable price. My fried chicken breast was fried crunchy and thin with mashed potatoes and sawmill gravy, to serve as my main course. My wife's salad was also very good. This restaurant is noted for excellent quality with smaller sized portions.
Wonderful food as usual. The strawberry salad wass fabulous and the Build-aBurger with a jalepeno roll wass over the top perfect!
Loved it !! Strawberry salad and chicken Lo Al was amazing and the fudge brownie with ice cream was delicious 😋!;
Best food I've had in a long time!!
We ate a late lunch and had great service and wonderful food. The dessert was fabulous
Great tea room atmosphere. Tasty sandwiches. Unique shopping.
This is a great little place to go with family or friends or just for a girl's day.. Great freach food.
Lovely place.. A little pricey for getting a simple salad bar when you have Celiac, but the employees are pleasant & helpful! Our ladies meet here monthly & are always delighted to come back😊
Good food, great soup and salad buffet. Quiet enough to be able to talk. Relaxed. Nice boutique out front.
I had lunch here recently and was very impressed. Our Server, Bella, was extremely friendly and offered great selections. She gave us great customer service. We all tried something different and all were great choices. The desserts were amazing. My two Aunts could not stop talking about Bella. They had come to visit from Houston so I felt really proud to share this place with them.
Anthony and Cliff are amazing! Food was delicious,, service was top notch! Thank you all
Over the years my husband and I have been to Potpourri House several times, and it has always been enjoyable. The food is consistently good, the waiters are pleasant, and the prices are reasonable. We plan to return.
One of my favorite places! Their food is always delicious and well-made. I feel cared for each time I come in. Wonderful place!
Food was very good and service was pleasant.
The place looks comfortable. The variety of foods they have pictured looks mouth watering. The small ice cream scoup of mashed potatoes. Not natural.I've had the privilege of eating at some of the finest dinners in Texas. There was never ice cream scoped mashed taters.
Fun shopping, great food & nice atmosphere
It was my birthday, they were kind enough to bring a piece of cake with a candle.
Delicious! Nice atmosphere.
It was cold & the tables were soill aarranged. It was just not the usual homey atmosphere
First time to visit this place. Was there for a dinner and a speaker. Had two fish options for dinner. I had the fried catfish with green beans, mashed potatoes and a roll. The other option was grilled salmon with the same sides. Fried fish was a little over done, but very tasty. Other guests said the salmon was good. So I know nothing about other menu items. A gift shop is in the front part of the restaurant. I would go back.
Great food and atmosphere, with cool boutique shop on site.
Anthony did a great job of getting our group details prepared for our group dinner while we in town for the Rose Festival events. Thanks, Anthony!
Wonderful food and gift options. Always beautiful near Christmas too.
I moved from Tyler years ago and have not had the opportunity to visit Potpourri House. It is just as magical as I remembered just in a different location. The staff were courteous and friendly. The food was excellent. The shops were stocked full of Christmas goodies!
Great food, service and meeting room.
